Hanna Yurfest is a director and producer from Richmond, MA.

As a producer, she has worked with/at The Prelude Festival, Powerhouse Theater, The University of Houston, Exponential Festival among others. Hanna was Under The Radar’s 24/25 Associate Festival Producer.

In the Spring of 2025, she directed Lobster by Kallan Dana (best theater of 2025 Vulture/NY Magazine, The New Yorker) which was produced by Needy Lover at The Tank. She is a 25/26 Clubbed Thumb New Play Directing Fellow.

Hanna co-founded and leads The Tank's artist group, TAG. She makes work with her company, Needy Lover.

She went to Skidmore College and studied American Studies.
